Its unmistakable design is the brainchild of Anna von Schewen, a Swedish designer who pays a great deal of attention to the workmanship of her creations, yet is inspired by a poeticality that catches the entire spirit of Scandinavian tradition based on clean lines, enhanced by care to detail. Cushions are placed over cushions on top of a bench. The edging details add a visual perception to the usual tactile experience conveyed by the fabric. The noiseless mechanism can raise all the cushions for total body relaxation while unsymmetrical modules confirm the contemporary style of this project that would look perfect in large rooms as well as in a freestanding position in the living room.
